I met Dwight Williams yesterday at the MET. I saw him from a distance from the 2nd floor and noticed he had some folks taking pictures of him while he was drawing. I went down and spoke with him briefly. I asked him how long he's been drawing for and he replied, "my whole life." He told me that he sells his drawing for $95 dollars which is quite the bargain for a master drawing. I can't wait to bump into him again. Seems like we worship folks with no talent but running into one who's got it was quite the inspiration.
